Our standard built-in wardrobes are built using whiteboard — a melamine-faced board with a clean, smooth white surface. This is the most popular choice for Brisbane homeowners because it is practical, durable, and suits any bedroom décor. The white finish is hard-wearing, easy to clean, and gives a fresh, classic look that never dates.

Premium MDF Colour Board
For a more personalised or high-end result, we also offer premium MDF colour board. This uses a decorated MDF substrate with a wide range of colour and finish options — including matt, smooth, sheen, textured, and gloss finishes. Suppliers like Laminex and Polytec offer hundreds of colour options from neutral whites and warm greys to bold tones and realistic woodgrain patterns. Premium colour board gives your wardrobe a truly custom, designer look that stands out in any bedroom.

Can a built-in wardrobe go on carpet, concrete or a finished floor?
Yes, any of them. We can install your wardrobe directly on concrete, on carpet, or on a finished floor such as timber, vinyl or tiles. It’s completely up to you and how you’d like the room finished, and we’ll talk you through the options at the site visit.
What doors can I have on a built-in wardrobe?
We specialise only in sliding wardrobe doors, so every built-in comes with made-to-measure sliding doors. Choose from mirror, white or coloured board and frosted glass, in framed, frameless, shoji or slimline styles. We don’t make hinged doors.
How long does it take from order to installation?
Custom built-in wardrobes usually take 2–4 weeks to make from the check measure in our standard finishes, and most are installed in a single day. Custom colours and coloured MDF boards depend on the supplier, so we check timing before placing your order. Busy periods can also add time depending on our workload, so we’ll confirm your timeframe before you go ahead.
What drawers do you use?
Our standard drawers use strong, quality metal-sided runners that are built for everyday use. If you’d like a more premium feel, we also offer upgraded soft-close drawers for a small extra cost.
How much weight can the shelves hold?
Our standard white melamine shelves are strong and handle everyday loads like folded clothes, shoes and boxes with ease. If you plan to store heavier items, coloured MDF board is an even stronger option, and we’ll recommend the right shelf spans when we design your layout.
What if a picture rail, skirting board, cornice or power point is in the way?
Picture rails, skirting boards and cornices are cut back neatly where the wardrobe needs to fit. If you prefer, they can be removed and refitted instead for a cleaner finish. Power points can’t be cut around, so if one needs to be moved, that must be done by a licensed electrician before installation.
Do you remove and dispose of my old wardrobe?
Yes. We can remove your old wardrobe, shelving and sliding doors and take them away for you. Wherever possible, we take them to a recycling facility. The cost depends on the size of the job, so just mention it in your enquiry and we’ll include it in your quote.
Can you quote from my house plans?
We prefer to visit your home and go through the design with you, robe by robe, so everything fits the way you live. If you have detailed drawings with measurements, we can give you a ballpark price from your plans to get started.
Do you do patching, painting or electrical work?
No. We focus on wardrobes and sliding doors, so any patching, painting or electrical work needs to be organised by you, either before or after your new wardrobe is installed. We’re happy to let you know what will need doing when we visit.
Who installs the wardrobe, and which areas do you cover?
Every installation is done by our own professional team, never subcontractors. We install built-in wardrobes across Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Ipswich, Logan and Moreton Bay.
