Can you fit wardrobes in an older Queenslander?
Yes. Queenslanders and post-war homes often have VJ timber walls, high ceilings and walls or floors that aren’t perfectly square. We measure carefully on site and allow for those differences when we make and fit your wardrobe, so everything lines up neatly. Sliding doors are often the best choice in these homes, because they don’t need any room to swing open.
How do I get a quote?
For some simple jobs, we can give you an instant quote online from your sizes and a few photos. For everything else, we prefer to book a site visit, so we can measure your space properly and design a solution that suits your home. A small call-out fee may apply for some site visits, depending on the job and location. We’ll always let you know before we book.
How much does a custom wardrobe cost?
Pricing depends on the size, layout, door style, and internal fittings you choose. A standard built-in wardrobe with sliding doors typically starts from around $1,500–$2,500 installed, while walk-in wardrobes vary widely based on size and configuration. Send us your measurements and what you’re after and we’ll come back to you with a realistic estimate — no visit needed to get started.
How long will I have to wait from order to installation?
Sliding wardrobe doors usually take 2–3 weeks from the check measure. Built-in wardrobes, walk-in robes and shelving in our standard finishes usually take 2–4 weeks. Custom colours and coloured MDF boards depend on the supplier, so we check timing before placing your order. Busy periods can also add time depending on our workload, so we’ll confirm your timeframe before you go ahead and book an installation day that suits you.
What materials do you use?
All our wardrobes are built using quality melamine board — standard white (whiteboard) as the default finish, with premium MDF colour board available for clients who want a custom colour or a more high-end look. Door frames use aluminium track systems selected for smooth, quiet, long-lasting performance.
Can I choose my own colours and finishes?
Absolutely. Standard white is the most popular choice and suits most homes, but if you want to match your room, go bold, or achieve a premium designer look, we offer a full range of MDF colour board options. We’ll show you samples when we visit, or we can discuss options over the phone.
Do you do the installation yourselves or outsource it?
We do everything ourselves — design, build, and install. We never outsource our installation work to third parties. The same team that builds your wardrobe is the team that installs it, which means the quality is consistent from start to finish.
